An integrated motion detector comes standard. The device monitors open areas of your home including foyers, halls and open living spaces. It is a small security device that will typically be installed at or near the top of walls or in high corners, providing it the widest field of view.

When the standard alarm system is armed, the motion detector detects an intrusion if it senses motion. In this event, the standard alarm system sends an alarm notification to The Rite Group's 24/7/365 U.L Listed Monitoring Center alerting the personnel there of a security breach, who will contact you by phone to confirm your safety. Authorities will be contacted if necessary.

You may elect to bypass motion detectors when you are inside the residence yet wish the perimeter of the residence to be protected by other standard alarm system sensors. If the motion detector is bypassed (turned off), you may move around the residence without setting off the alarm. At the same time you will be confident with peace of mind the standard alarm system is monitoring your home for intrusion.
