The Rite Group began with a $250 investment in 1967, about the time President T. Robin Cole, III graduated with a shiny new degree in Electrical Engineering. Robin worked that first summer helping get the fledgling company off the ground, and then left for New York for graduate studies to learn something more about the business world. Under his father’s leadership, the company served regional enterprises of all kinds supplying and servicing copiers, faxes, printers and shredders from the early days of the office technology industry. He led the company (then known as Copi-Rite) for 36 years before handing the reins to Robin. Since its founding 45 years ago, the company has emphasized core beliefs: hard work, honesty, offering clients only the best products and services delivered with an excellent experience, a give-back debt to the community, and gratitude for the support we receive, for the God of our fathers, for the patriots who stand watch defending our freedom, and for this great country. In 2006, the company changed its name to The Rite Group to reflect its inclusion of a wider range of digital office technologies. The most significant factors contributing to our steady growth directly relate to the commitment and loyalty of our employees, their families, and especially, our clients, reinforced by these core values and beliefs.
